AIK has brought in four new players, but now the club wants to give coach José Riveiro another offensive player. According to Expressen's Norwegian sources, AIK has placed a bid on Linus Alperud from Lilleström SK and the clubs are currently negotiating the transfer fee. It remains to be seen if AIK and Lilleström will agree on a deal. Alperud left Örebro SK last summer for around 5-6 million kronor. ÖSK also secured a resale clause of 20% in connection with the sale last summer, which Expressen reported on. This means that the club will receive a part of the transfer fee if Alperud is sold on to Lilleström. The 20-year-old has played nine matches and scored one goal this season. AIK's sports management is far from finished with the team building. Now the former ÖSK talent may be on his way back to Swedish football. AIK is 20 points behind leaders IFK Norrköping in the table. In their next match, AIK will face Varbergs BoIS FC at home on August 23. AIK has played 17 matches and has 15 points, with 3 wins, 6 draws and 8 losses. They have scored 14 goals and conceded 25, giving them a goal difference of -11. AIK's recent form is LDLLD.
