Orebro SK lost to FC Kryvbas 1-2 in a friendly match played recently. ÖSK chose to skip a punishing 'Bielsapass' and instead play a match against Kryvbas FC or FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, which is their full name. Kryvbas comes from Ukraine and Kryvyi Rih is the birthplace of Volodymyr Zelenskyj. ÖSK lined up with more juniors on the pitch as Swartling, Shagaxle, Hrastovina and Runheim all started. Hrastovina got the first scoring chance of the match when a pass found him on the left wing, but his left-footed shot went just wide of the far post. Kryvbas showed their class when one of their midfielders turned away Hrastovina and found a teammate on the right wing, whose shot went high over. ÖSK continued to show a fine combination play from their own goalkeeper and the reward was fine spaces forward and many players in the attacks. Kryvbas was also dangerous and managed to find good opportunities. ÖSK equalized to 1-1 through Hamse after a fine deep run. But Kryvbas took the lead again and ÖSK eventually lost 1-2. ÖSK's goalkeeper Runheim saved a penalty and showed his class. ÖSK's coach was satisfied with the team's performance despite the loss. ÖSK will continue to prepare for the upcoming season.
