Orebro SK traveled to Jämtland with the hope of breaking their negative trend, but despite a halftime lead, it was another heavy loss. Host Östersunds FK turned the game around and won 3-2 after a strong second half. Orebro got off to a tough start in the game when Amar Begic gave Östersund the lead after just eight minutes. After a chaotic attack in the penalty area, the ball eventually ended up with Begic, who could place it in 1-0 behind Jakub Ojrzyński. Despite a weak start, Orebro worked their way into the game. The equalizer came in the 20th minute when Lowe Astvald met Christopher Redenstrands free kick with his head and nodded in his first Superettan goal 1-1. ÖSK then gained better control of the game and just before the break took the lead. Ahmed Yasin showed his routine when he hit a bouncing ball in the penalty area and elegantly lifted it over Melker Uppenberg to 1-2. The second half was a much tougher story for Orebro. Östersund took command immediately after the break and created several dangerous scoring opportunities. Ojrzyński held his team in the lead with several qualified saves, including a header attempt from Mario Palomino and a shot from Simon Marklund. The pressure eventually became too great. In the 57th minute, Amar Begic equalized with his second goal of the day after a well-executed attack where the home team combined on the right flank. Orebro then had difficulty getting a grip on the game and created very little forward. In the 77th minute, the decisive moment came. After a ball loss on their own half, Curtis Edwards advanced forward and finished an attack that via an ÖSK player found its way into the net to 3-2. In the final minutes, Orebro tried to force a draw, but the guests had difficulty creating any really dangerous scoring opportunities. A hard shot from Edgar Navassardian went wide and several long balls to Kalle Holmberg and Erman Hrastovina were easily cleared by Östersund's defense. When the final whistle blew, it was clear that ÖSK had collected their fourth loss in the last five games. The loss means that the team has dropped to 11th place in Superettan, just two points above the negative relegation zone. Now a very important home match against GIF Sundsvall awaits, a match that is already starting to feel like a key match for ÖSK's continued season.
