Orebro SK has managed to keep their Canadian defenseman David Quenneville. He will stay for two more years and has already proven himself to be a top defender in the league. Quenneville scored 44 points in 52 matches last season.
- I am extremely happy to extend my contract for two more years. Orebro has become a second home for both me and my family. It was a clear decision to return and continue to build on and develop all that we have achieved in the club, says David Quenneville in a statement.
- It feels very good that we have managed to keep Q. He has proven himself to be a top defender in the league with his offensive toolset and we are really looking forward to continuing to work together with him, says sport director Henrik Löwdahl to the club's website.
Orebro SK is currently 14th in Superettan with 15 points after 18 matches. The next match is away against IK Brage on August 16.
